Racing tail section made of high-quality fiberglass prepreg material, by Ilmberger Carbon.
The lower positioning of the seat plate is a direct evolution from WorldSBK, derived from the needs of BMW Motorrad Motorsport factory riders. With a seat height reduced by around 30 mm, the race tail fulfills the general trend towards a lower seating position.
The component was manufactured completely from fiberglass prepreg material in accordance with the latest guidelines in an autoclave.
We recommend using the bodywork parts only in combination with other parts from the fiberglass racing series (see Accessories). Racing fairing parts cannot be mounted together with OEM fairing components, there is no positive fit.

Note
- The seat plate must be ordered separately (see Accessories).
- By using different seat plates, the seat height and the seat position can be adjusted to the rider's needs.
- The OEM seat may not be used in combination with the race tail.
- For mounting on the OEM rear frame an additional bracket set is required (see Accessories).
- The surface of the fiberglass products is not paint-ready and may need to be processed before surface finishing.
