Due to the high stress and temperatures of racing the Superbike spark plug R0470A-10 offers a heat range of 10.
To avoid any vibration cracks very short electrodes are used.
As BMW issued a few years ago the spark plug is equipped with an M10 thread 26,5mm in length. Because of the long thread it is possible to enlarge the colling ducts and the small thread allows for large valve diameters.
